The temperature is only in the low 70s and I'm cold. It makes me wonder if I'm capable of living somewhere that actually has a real winter season. I got to see a little bit of snow while on spring break in Chicago this past year, but I haven't been in snow-fight-capable amounts of it for about 8 years. We just haven't travelled during the wintertime for a while I suppose. I contemplated going back to Chicago for New Years, but flying standby during the holiday season is insane. Right now I do sort of wish it was snowing outside. Even though my wardrobe is unequipped for any temperature below 60 degrees.
I was wanting to post something about my time in Maine this past summer, but the photos aren't compiled yet. Instead I'm just gonna put Google Images, Pinterest and Tumblr to good use and share some pictures that makes me want to live in a continental climate.
I'm aware that I am over-glamorizing snow. I know some people that don't like winter (some people in Chicago particularly), but look at this! I can't even believe that its real. And anyone experiencing this right now may glamorize a tropical winter as wildly as they desire.
England
England
France
Germany
NYC (I will one day live here. And I'm not sure if this is a painting or photograph)
Austria
Austria (Salzburg, love and miss this place)
I don't know where these places are, but I'd hideaway here:
And I would definitely go here!
I'm such a helpless daydreamer. But I'm working on securing a career that will grant me my greatest and most passionate wish: travel the whole world. All of it.
